Academic background
I am a fourth-year PhD candidate in Operations Research at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE), Georgia Institute of Technology. I am advised by Professor Hayriye Ayhan. My research focuses on stochastic processes, queueing systems with customer abandonments, continuous- and discrete-time Markovian systems, stochastic and dynamic optimization, and exact analysis of Markov decision processes. For more details, please see Research.
I am from Shanghai, China. I earned a B.Math. from Fudan University in Shanghai, with a minor in Computational Mathematics. I then completed a master's degree in Statistics at Georgia Tech before transferring into the PhD program.
